Tantor - Mágico Y Natural (1982)

The second and final album from this Argentine band.

Tantor was a quartet on this album with a lineup of bass, drums, guitars, keyboards and Spanish vocals.

I reviewed their debut album some days ago and gave that a good rating. You can read my review here.

The band was a fusion and symponic prog band throughout their two albums. That off course also goes for this album.

The band blends South-American symphonic prog and Latin Fusion together on this thirty-seven minutes long album.

There are both instrumental fusion here and some really cool vocals fusion and symphonic prog here. The fusion is really cool and brings out the best in Latin fusion. No wonders as this band is a supergroup with members from two leading Argentine bands.

The fusion makes my head and feet wander around in these rhythms. This album has music for both the body and the brain.

The vocals and the guitar solos are really cool here. The bassist Marcelo Torres is laying down the some fat bass lines and is the star on this album.

The music is also very good throughout and this album is a very fine example of South-American fusion and symphonic prog. Check it out.
