Electric Orange - Netto Companion (2015)

The 13th album from this German band.

Electric Orange was a quartet with a lineup of organ, synths, keyboards, moog, mellotron, bass, drums, guitars and percussion.

I have reviewed some of their albums in this blog and you can find these reviews somewhere else in this blog.

Electric Orange plays krautrock. Krautrock from outer space, to be more precise.

The band is painting a big soundscape on this album. The music is not harsh or dissonant. It is actually very harmonic to be a space rock album.

The bass and drums are in the bottom of the sound and is adding the beat where the guitarist and most of all keys player is adding the textures.

The sound is pretty minimalistic on this sixty-seven minutes long album. There is even some tribal drums here. The soundscape is actually quite peaceful like a friendly invasion from outer space.

There is still a lot of things going on here though and that makes an interesting album. This is not among their best albums. Nevertheless, this is a good album.
